Meet Kourtney

I have always been a creative person and like to think of myself as a creative problem solver when it comes to my work with photography in the Frederick, MD area. After graduating high school I moved to TN to pursue college at Middle Tennessee State University. I graduated in 2013 with a degree in video and film production. I discovered my passion for photography during college as a art minor. I quickly began taking photos of the things I saw, taco packets on the side of the road, my nephews, and then my love of nature grew.

Life brought me back to the Maryland area in 2016. New opportunities presented themselves which allowed me to get into real estate photography and the beauty of this region also grew my love of landscape photography.

Empire Photography was born out of my passion for both of those things. My keen eye for detail in a photo has helped me grow in this craft as a professional photographer in the Frederick, MD area. Above all, I love helping people and I think of the services I provide as doing just that. If I can use my experience with headshots and local photography in the Frederick, MD area, and my skills with video, and media to grow someone else's business, then I feel like I have done my job.
